The world is facing a really hard time. We have implemented stringent safety measures to prevent disease from spreading and to protect our families, friends and fellow citizens.
Our wine production dept. is working on implementing these measures and we have reduced the number of employees in the offices, encouraging to work from home.
We continue to work using video conferencing, including meetings with our foreign clients and national retail distribution here in Italy. It’s a modern and smart approach that we plan to continue using even after this critical moment has passed.
The hotel and restaurant trade here in Italy is obviously at a standstill. But our national retail distribution is actually growing thanks to the fact that people are rediscovering the joys of eating at home with their families. In terms of exports, we are not experiencing any problems so far.
It’s a difficult situation regardless and it’s changing at breakneck speed.
Unprecedented circumstances we are trying to cope with.
We had great expectations in terms of wine tourism, as a new UNESCO World Cultural Heritage destination, but all those who booked to visit our charming hills have had to cancel.
But we remain confident that brighter days will come again. Our thoughts and hearts are closer than ever.
