Chicago is one of the best cities in the U.S. to drink Villa Sandi wines.
Without a doubt, the number-one place to drink Villa Sandi wines in the U.S. is New York City.
Whether at the wine shop at Eataly in the Flat Iron district or Gramercy Wines, there are countless wine shops that carry the wines in the Big Apple. Just use WineSearcher.com to find other retailers there and beyond. And there are plenty of them.
Similarly, you’ll find Villa Sandi at a lot of New York’s top restaurants.
One of our favorite places to enjoy the wines is Sofia Wine Bar in Midtown. It’s a classic, small Italian bistro and best-kept-secret.
Of course, if you want to drink Villa Sandi at a famous see-and-be-seen eatery, don’t miss the swank Fresco by Scotto, also in Midtown. This is a mover and shaker destination where you will run into famous politicians, business leaders, and celebrities. They always have Villa Sandi Il Fresco by the glass. After all, their name is Fresco by Scotto! (Scotto is the family that owns and runs this legendary lunch and dinner spot.)
Another city where it is easy to find Villa Sandi in both shops and restaurants is Los Angeles. We do not have any hard numbers on this but Villa Sandi Prosecco has quickly become the go-to sparkling wine for the city’s many rooftop lounges and restaurants, like the High Rooftop Lounge at the ubercool Erwin Hotel in Venice.
And for those who want something a little more classic, be sure not to miss Osteria Mamma, one of our absolute favorite places to drink Villa Sandi anywhere in the U.S. The owner and his mother (as the name reveals) are from Italy’s Veneto region where Villa Sandi makes its wines. There is perhaps no restaurant in the U.S. where they understand “Prosecco culture” better. It is always a great experience to dine there. Just take one look at the restaurant’s photos on their website and you’ll see what we mean!
Chicago is another city where you’ll find ample retail and restaurant availability for Villa Sandi wines. Look no further than the Windy City’s Eataly if you need to pick up a bottle to enjoy at home. But you’ll also find Villa Sandi on a number of the city’s famous steakhouse wine lists. One of our favorites is Kinzie Chophouse right in the heart of Chicago’s downtown. Whether you’re doing salads or seafood as your first course before digging into a beautifully cooked steak, Villa Sandi Prosecco is the perfect way to get the party started.
